Fake Perfection is an alt-pop project by S and A. The project's stated thesis is "authentic songs, fake performance": the lyrics, melodies, and production decisions are written by S and A, while the vocal performances are AI-generated.

After more than twenty years of writing music that was never released, the project committed to releasing one song per month for twelve months in 2026 as a deliberate experiment, with an explicit decision point at year-end about whether to continue.
